A missed economic opportunity I would suggest. I called at this garage today in need of spending a penny only to be told it was not possible as they do not have a public loo. I said well you have always had one and indeed it is through that door over there (I have over the years used this facility, when purchasing either petrol or something else in the outlet). Before I even had a chance to offer to buy something in the shop, I was informed that there was no public access to their loo. Instead of telling me to be a customer rather than a member of the public so that PRESUMABLY I could use their loo, I was condemned to leave unsatisfied. This seems an odd way of running a business to me. I wonder who else has had this experience? Am I missing something here? I would have been happy to purchase something in the shop to qualify as a paying customer but I was not given the opportunity. The call of nature was fairly urgent so I was rather concentrating on that rather than looking for something to buy.
